I have a dell 17" lcd monitor and when running word
processing and excel type programs, all the font and
numbers are blurry and very hard to make out. When using
IE6 or other programs all the font is fine. Does anybody
have any suggestions??

Be sure to set the display resolution to the same setting as
the LCD native resolution. Be sure the LCD monitor is
properly identified in the device manager.

Hi Bob,

On an lcd monitor you need to have your display settings in windows set to
the native display of your monitor. Probably 1280x1024. This will align
perfectly with each "pixel" of the lcd. Also you need to setup windows for
"Clear Type" Go here for instructions:
