Dell GX150 and GX260 - Screen Ghosting in XP Pro

When working in XP on some of our machines we are getting the
following annoyance.

When you close down an application, the screen will not redraw over
where the window of the application was previously. When you open up a
new application the old app window (now closed) is still displayed
over the new app window.

The computers both have Intel Chipsets for graphics onboard (i815 and
i845 chipsets specifically).

We have tried upgrading the graphics drivers with the latest drivers
from the Intel site but the problem remains.

Anyone able to help?

Cheers
Andy
