I have a dell dimension 5150. Windows xp Pro, sp3. I use a commercial
antivirus package, but a virus slipped in. I was going to fdsk the hard
drive and reinstall windows from my legal copy of windows, but I was told
that it wouldn't work, because this machine requires some specific drivers
from dell. I ended up wasting 1/2 a day dragging the machine to the shop I
bought it from, and he took care of it, but needless to say, no info
available for me from the tech. I'd like to know what drivers to download
now, from dell, before the next time disaster strikes. That way I'd have 'em
on a CD when I need them. I find Dell's website to be an impossible journey
thru an unmapped wilderness, and their user forums are worse. Can anyone
help me here?

Copy it and paste in the browser.
Under Category box, select one by one the different options, and you will be
redirected to a page from which download the selected option.
