delivery failure messages and i did not send mail

I am receiving emails from administrator saying msgs i sent were not rec'd.
i did not send any of these msgs. all scans are up to date

This generally means that someone that knows you or has you email address is
infected and is using your e-mail addy to spread spam/viruses.

You can't stop someone from using your e-mail address.

It's not a security problem with your PC. It's that a spammer is
forging your email into the "From:" of his outgoing spams. This means
when those spams fail to be delivered (the spammer sends a gillion at
a time, and some will fail for various reasons), you'll get the bounce
messages. It sucks, and you're a victim of "backscatter"
