Hi,

I have large data with number coloums & rows in excel.

Example: No of columns say from A to Z & Rows 1 to 5000. Column A
refers to employee number
Column B refers name of the employees
Column C refers address of the emplyees
Column D to Z refers his income , Savings & tax deduction.

Problem to solve:

I have imported the data to excel from customized payroll software.
While going through the data in excel, I found that column D address of
the employee against each employee is appearing in 4 to 5 different
rows , leaving inbetween blank rows.

Is there anyway to delete all the blank rows in one step. As of now I
am deleting manually.

Two employees data is given below :

Emp.No. Name of the employee Address Date of Joining Salary Rent
1 ASHOK 103,SHRIVEN TOWERS 08-Aug-02 227881 22085

8-3-222/1/A/A,YUSUF GUDA ROAD

30000

MADHURA NAGAR

HYDERABAD.

2 DINESH 08-Aug-02 419587 51260
naryanguda

Secunderabad 5000

2000

Hi there,

I'd select column D and then go to Edit-->Go To and select Special and
"Blanks" and then Edit-->Delete and select Entire Row.

HTH,
Katherine
