I need to completely renew an existing corrupted XP Pro installation
adding only the minimum hardware drivers etc to take the opportunity t
clean and remove unwanted supplier set ups and add on "helpers" whic
helped cause the problem in the first place!

The PC manufacturer supplied an "in house" XP recovery CD separate fro
another CD containing all the drivers/software, but when I used this X
CD, without any warning or options to avoid it, it sideloaded a secon
copy of XP to my "D" drive, so now I have a dual boot system with
non-working "C" copy and a working "D" copy where it's not wanted!!!

I'm quite prepared to wipe the "C" drive, but do not want to wipe th
"D" drive unless absolutely forced.

How do I return to a single basic "C" drive XP installation please???
