It usually disappears when I check "Hide grammatical errors" or spelling
errors but this time it doesn't work. It will not show on the printout, but I
have to send proof and it shows up on the screen whether it is in show all
formatting marks or not. Any suggestions what I could do? Thanks.

If possible check your spelling or maybe one too many spaces within the
words?... or Include how your using " Holiday Party" in your sentence... I
tried recreating "Holiday Party", grammar only and grammar and style.. no
wavy lines showed... When spell check was used

And of course if the dots are purple, it could be a "smart tag." <sigh>
