(Running IE 6 with appropriate service packs and Windows XP)

We have several user profiles on our home computer. I know how to delete
temporary Internet files from the profiles one by one, but that's a bit
tedious

Is there a simple way to delete the temporary Internet cache for ALL the
users at once?

Thanks,

pjs

It's my experience that even logging in as each user and deleting the
temp inet files, does not fully flush the cookies and often still leaves
some temp files.

One effort to help the issue might be to set every user's IE6 Browser
options to delete temp files each time the browser is closed (you may
find that setting this one time as administrator applies to all instances):

Internet Properties | Advanced | Security (at bottom of list).

Place a check mark in the box,
"Empty Temporary Internet Files When Browser Is Closed"

You should probably ask each user to delete their temp folders,
cookie files, and history, manually as a part of basic housekeeping.
If in 'classic' start menu, they can do this by right-clicking on the IE
desktop Icon and selecting "properties" and clear everything in the
'General' tab (including "off-line content"). If in the standard XP
start menu, right-click on the IE Icon in the main start menu and
do the same.

It's also my experience that even after doing this, you still should
enter the explorer window ocassionally and manually delete the
remaining files as you have been doing.
