On my Windows 2000 Advanced Server, I have a TEMP directory that contains
many many folders and files.

It's C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp

Can I delete the contents of this directory?" or will deleting cause me
problems!!

Thanks

There shouldn't be any problem deleting those files.

If you're really cautious, move them to a different directory and delete
them later. In truth, though, unless you've done something weird like using
that folder to store data in, the contents can safely be deleted.
