I have a single domain with dozens of sub folders. Is it ok to just delete
these sub folders in my hosts control panel or does this have to be done
through Front Page and if so, how?

Yes you can delete the folder on your host - then set Frontpage not to
publish subwebs.

You can delete the folder in you frontpage web by selecting "view" "folder
list' then right click the folder and select delete.

Hi Bill, thanks for the reply. I don't understand the part about not
publishing sub webs.

Do not delete the folders or subweb (or any files) outside of FP, especially if the site has the FP SE !
- that will corrupt the FP metadata w/i the site and eventually the FP SE

Always open the site in FP and delete your content from w/i FP so FP can adjust the metadata

Hi Stefan....I am really at a loss as to how to do this. The site has the FP
SE so that is the reason I am asking in the first place. On my local
machine, I have all of these individual webs each with it's own FP yellow
folders and its own index.htm plus the additional htm pages. On my domain,
these webs are listed as such:
mydomain.com/webone/index.htm
mydomain.com/webtwo/index.htm
mydomain.com/webthree etc;
Do I have to open the site live to do this?

The best option is to open the live/remote site directly in FP and delete any subweb while in the
root (mydomain.com), then publish the root web to a location on your HD, and from that point on,
always work in that location for any content related to mydomain.com
