I am using Access 2003.
A record locking file appeared when I last closed the database, which has
happened before but I cannot delete this file.
I have tried moving the locking file to another folder but it won't let me.
I have tried deleting it but it won't let me.
I have opened the database I tried to compact and repair it but again it
won't let me because it thinks another user is logged on (but they aren't)
I seem to think I have read in this group about forced deleting of a locking
file but now can't find that post. Is this what I should be doing, and if so
can someone tell me how to do it.

Ive found that sometimes when i have restarted the computer that normally
makes the locking file go away.
