I am using Outlook 2003 sp2. I just got a new computer and when my files were
transfered over, I now have a folder called "Personal Folders" along with my
~local inbox. When I click on it gives me an error message that says "the set
of folders could not be opened". I can't seem to get rid of it and while it
is not causing any problems being there, it is really annoying me that I
can't get it to go away.

How do I get rid of it? I can't close it either, I get an error message that
says " the operation failed. An object could not be found".

Thanks for any help you can give.

You might try creating a new profile. Control Panel | Mail | Show
Profiles...

Your existing data will be fine.
