Deleting pages from destination server

I set publishing to "changed pages only"
I set version ID to "Determine Changes by comparing
source and destination"
When asked if FP should remove pages not in current web
from the destination server, I say YES

However, it doesn't remove them. This refers to .htm
and .html pages.

It used to work fine, but now it doesn't.
