"The Profile can be deleted via the mail applet in the control panel, or via
the outlook shortcut on the desktop, if you have such."

This was info given to me on this message board. I understand the first
method, but not the second.

How do I delete a profile from the shortcut on the desktop?

Please advise,

thanks,
sheana

Sometimes the special Outlook shortcut (created by the Outlook/Office
install) can be right-clicked and give access to the Mail applet

I r-clicked the Outlook shortcut, and a menu came up with choices to rename,
delete, open, and properties. The properties dialogue box has "General" and
"Shortcut" tabs....is this what you're talking about...I mean, is it
possible to get to the Mail applet from the above choices?

No, that seems like that shortcut is just a normal shortcut not a 'special'
one.
