Deleting Orphaned App Entries

I have a number of applications that have been removed
manually and the entries still exist un Add/Remove
Applications. When I try to remove the entry it does not
work, probably because it requires files that were
manually deleted.

I have found the registry key where the installed app
list is stored in the past but cannot seem to find it now.

Any help would be appreciated.
