I have the same problem (can't remove usernames from the
MSN sign in drop down list and cant't stop automatic
signing in upon start MSN), but in my case (XP pro.) the
solution below doesn't work. Are there alternatives?

Hi Johan,

Judging by your e-mail address (.nl), I assuming you're using the Dutch version of Windows
XP? Unfortunately, there is a current bug in the Dutch version of Windows XP which prevents
you from removing passport information from your account. As far as I know, this hasn't
been fixed, but you may want to run WindowsUpdate (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com on your
computer to see if there's an update that will fix this).

What you can do is prevent Passports from being saved completely (and you'll loose your
automatic login, which is what you want). To do so, download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...lenetcreds.reg
Then reboot the computer -- all names will be gone (and will no longer save), as will the
automatic login.

Hi Johan,

Well this has been issue since XP came out (over two years ago) -- it still hasn't been
fixed.
