While doing a disk cleanup I noticed about 500 mg of disk being occupied by
memory dumps and minidumps. Do I need to keep these or can I safely remove
them? My system is running fine. I am not out of disk but don't want
unnecessary files hanging around if unneeded.

Hi,

You can delete them safely. They are used to assist in debugging a system
that has issues. If your system begins having problems, new ones will be
created when a crash occurs.
