When I first hooked up Windows Mail, I set an option to save all my mail in
my gmail account also. I want to set it back to where it deletes it from
Gmail once it gets pulled over to Windows Mail. I need help in finding where
to do that!

Thanks!!

Go to Accounts in Windows mail (Tools>Accounts) In the Account Window click
on the Gmail account and then select Properties. In the Gmail properties,
Click the Advanced tab. Near the bottom of the properties window you will
see a section marked 'Delivery' The first option in this section is 'Leave a
copy of message on server' Place a 'tick' mark in the box next to this item
and then click OK. Emails from Gmail should now remain on their server.

Andrea I've just checked your post again. looks like I read it wrong. The
instructions are exactly the same but, in your case, you want to 'delete'
the emails from the gmail server. In this case 'remove' the tick from the
'leave a copy of message on server.'

Sorry for the confusion

In the case of Gmail (which is a bit different than other mail services),
that option has to be set online:

(See the #2 item in the pink Mail Settings.)
