deleting a lot at once from history

i have to do a lot of web page searching and keep masses stored in the
history folder for reference. is there a way i can delete a whole chunk of
them all at once from the history list without having to do them
individually please.? i am using XP. thanks.

Right click on internet explorer.. and click properties. there you will
see a box labled "clear history" .. click on it and your history will
be deleted.

many thanks. i dont want to clear them all. just chunks, say 9 or 10 at
the end of the day.

Either do as darkshadow suggests or use crapcleaner
http://www.ccleaner.com/ and tailor it to do what you want

Open the history folder via explorer rather than as a pane in IE. You can then select multiple
entries in a subfolder just like regular files. History is usually found here:

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\History

If you want to do this on a regular basis, create a shortcut to the folder.

I guess you are using IE. In Tools>internet options> general tab, you
can specify the number of days that you retain your history for. Perhaps
you can just reduce this as it defaults to 20 days.
