Do not delete any posts
- it will corrupt your DW
Edit them to say: "Inappropriate Post deleted"
You must open and Edit your online site in FP
The posts are in the _hidden folders (Tools Site settings Advanced - show hidden folders) linked from your toc.htm page

David:

I do not see Stefan's reply. In the mean time I have deleted the htm files
in _disk7 etc.; however, the posts were still visible. Thus, i have disabled
the forum until I am able to easily remedy the problem.

Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Peace,
Chuck

David:

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have deleted the entires already and I think
I may have corrupted the DW(?). I have saved the original file under a new
name and I will see if I can edit the posts to reflect the inappropriate
material was deleted.

Thanks again for your help.

Also, Is there an option for me to use in FrontPage that will force persons
to register before posting?

Peace,
Chuck

When you go through the Discussion Web Site Wizard you'll see an option for
"Yes, only registered users are allowed". You'll also need to change the
site permissions once you're done. The best thing is to create the
Discussion Web in it's own sub we (sub site) so you don't overwrite it when
you publish your main site. You can also set unique permissions from the
root if you put it in a sub web. Keep in mind the the FP Discussion Web is
very basic. For more functionality you should look for a third party
alternative. For example, if your host is on a windows server and allows
ASP.NET pages you can get the ASP.NET discussion forum at www.asp.net (Check
with your host and see what they offer)
