Hi i'm trying to delete my history and ive already tried
the clear history and click ok thing...yes that works ,
BUT it does not clear other think like when i press Y
the suggestion for www.yahoo.com comes up , of i i press
M , my computer comes up...how can i delete thise
suggestions?

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Content tab.
Under Personal information, click AutoComplete.
Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use

Or, in your case, unclick the options you don't want to use.

seems to not show the suggestion box , but if i re-click
it it will show them how can i permanantly delete them?

what and where is the "suggestion" box?

there is "address" box on toolbar and "search" box on
google toolbar. never heard of a "suggestion" box.

google toolbar has separate delete history button under
the google "small triangle".

and click on auto complete then clear forms.

Jack,
These are coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/fre...ory-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:

you're trying to get rid of. It's a feature in internet
explorer called "Auto Complete". If you uncheck this box,
it won't do it anymore. I believe it's under the "tools"
