i have tried everything to delete the program and i keep getting the message:
"this patch package could not be opened. verify that the patch package
exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to
verify that this is a valid windows installer patch package." It won't
delete in "add/delete programs" or from the "programs files". I am trying to
check out another program but about the time i get to see the files,
frontpage takes over. all of this started when i did a "restore".

Does FrontPage appear in Add or Remove Programs?

Did you actually have FrontPage installed and working prviously?

Not sure why you'd have to uninstall Frontpage to try another program....I
have FrontPage, Expression Web, Dreamweaver and couple of other web editors
all installed at the same time...what was/is your exact problem?

Hi Rob,

>>>Does FrontPage appear in Add or Remove Programs?

Yes, it does.

>>> Did you actually have FrontPage installed and working prviously?

Yes, I did.

I didn't have any problem with FrontPage until I did a restore. Not only
did it screw up FrontPage but i lost most of my programs but it kept the
files to the programs.
The reason I need to uninstall is because for one it is screwed up and
second whenever i try to open up files from another program (an ecommerce
shopping cart program) i always end up on frontpage with a message on it.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

to uninstall FP, then reinstall it from your CD.

No sorry. If you're using a browser other than IE, try using IE to download
with.
