Deleting files on UNIX with Samba doesn't work

AFTER UPDATING WIN2K THROUGH "Windows Update" Service on the end of February,
Win2k cannot delete files on network drives any more. I have to delete
filenames such as "SYSOP-20050408175349-05873519.txt" and I always get the
error (I translate from the italian error message): "Impossible to delete
SYSOP-20050408175349-05873519.txt: loaded file system doesn't support
extended attributes.".

If I keep on trying to delete the file, I can delete it after some attempts,
with no predefined number of unsuccessful attempts.

Any ideas?...

Note: Before Windows Update, I could delete files with no problems. Nothing
is changed on the UNIX partition where I delete files.
