deleting files - lets see you champs if u can solve this

i have a bit typical issue...whenever i delete files or
icons or nething...the icons dont disappear unless i dont
refresh. i have increased virtual memory, msconfig done as
well as a repair reinstallation is done??? wat can i do
now...
