Subject: Deleting emails

I think I can help. In my new computer I was using an established technique
of globally selecting all the email I wanted to delete and then expecting to
again globally select in the deleted items folder and delete all at once.
More than 40 messages wound up with the same message you experienced below.
I read many threads on how this couldn't be easily dealt with and the
frustration levels went where you'd expect them to go. One thing stuck with
me though. It said that if you kept right clicking on the deleted items
folder and choosing empty that eventually all the messages should disappear.
I tried that for a couple of times and didn't see the folder empty. Today I
noticed something that made me keep trying it. Each time I selected empty,
one message did actually disappear! I just finished taking this step about ,
yes, 40 times and now all messages are gone. Perhaps this can help you with
your problem. Just keep your eye on the lower left part of the screen to see
if you are making progress with deletion!
