I downloaded Ares for accessing music downloads and the site is not bringing
up any of my searches, so I thought I would delete the program and try
downloading again. I cannot delete it from either location it is in.
C;documents/settings and it is showing on my desktop. It gives me the
meassage that "acess is denied .Disk is full or make sure it is not write
protected. or in use" I can't figure it out and have been at it for hours!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The normal way to uninstall a program is through the Add/Remove programs
applet in Control Panel.

The only time you delete any app folder(s)/file(s) is if they didn't use an
installer. If an installer was used you uninstall the app via Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs.

Have you looked in the program folder or it's entry in the Start menu for an
uninstall utility? Otherwise I suggest you contact the tech support for the
program for help with uninstalling it.
