Deleting corruped Access database

We have a problem with a old Access database. When an attempt to open it was
made the database did not open but placed the locked icon beside it and not
we cannor delete it. Is there any way to remove this problem or delete the
entire database from the server.

It is of no use but just annoying to have it sit there.
