Deleting addresses from an expanded Distribution List

I have created a Universal Distribution Group in Active Directory for my IT
department; the one problem we're having is when someone expands the list in
Outlook to delete addresses from it. When that happens, the sender gets
NDR's for several recipients, but if we send a message to the entire group
and expand the list, it works fine; it only seems to be a problem if someone
removes an address form the list. Can anyone point me in the right
direction, please?
