use the third party freeware software called Cleancache from
www.buttuglysoftware.com Not only will it clear your address bar but it will
also clear temp internet files, cookies, index.dat files and a host of other
files. It is well worth using it. To find out what i think of it either
visit my website www.freelanceit.glowinternet.net Click the Reviews button
and then click the link to cleancache. Alternatively, the author of
cleancache has included a link to the review on his website.

It is a simple registry edit to stop URL and Command history. go>start\run
and type in regedt32 and hit ok or enter on your keyboard and then navigate
the following route by clicking the + beside the entries in this order.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/RunMRU
and right click on RunMRU and then click permissions and then set to deny in
all cases. If it's a matter of just wanting to delete one entry in the list
then open the list then right click on the entry and delete it.
