Deleteing old files.

Hi all,
I want to backup some files never open by users for long time and delete
them.
But my backup EXEC(v9.1) resets file access date to last night everyday so I
can not find the files never been used for long time by users.
I asked Segate about this but was no Luck...
Is there any way I can make this thing work?
