deleteing dll and txt files

I have an adware program running and it keeps finding
(mxtarget.dll),(atdmt[2].txt and (valueclick[2].txt)
files, can I safely delete these files with out hurting
my operating system, which is windows xp

Yes those files are safe to delete. More importantly, your program should
have a help section. You need to learn which files are safe to delete. You
can't ask every time. Every scan will produce some files for
cleaning/deletion > even if they are just cookies (txt files). You can also
quarantine files which can later be restored if necessary. Delete the
quarantined folders when you are sure you no longer need them.
