What view of the Nav Pane are you using? What type of account(s) have you
configured?

Depending on how you perform the search, there should be an "In Folder"
column that will list the folder in which search found the message. How
many folder sets do you have defined (i.e., how many PSTs)?

That's the correct icon for the Deleted Items folder. It's similar to
Windows' Recycle Bin logo.

How are you deleting the item? Do you simply click or press Delete, or is
there another process you use?
