Hi:
We run a SBS2003 network with 12 users. Three users report that when they
permanently delete a file (Shift-DEL) from their desktop it magically
reappears on the next reboot. I am not sure if this is an XP issue or a SBS
network setting.
Anyone any ideas please?
Thanks

This can happen with roaming profiles. Have a closer
look at how they are configured.

Thanks for that. I am, however, a newbie administrator so if you could
suggest exactly what and whee to loot at/for I would be most grateful.
Thanks

Sorry, I am not in a position to administer a server installation
via a newsgroup. I would need direct access to see what's
going on. I can see two options for you:
- Check the relevant help files on your server and also the
Microsoft KB articles on the correct configuration of
roaming profiles.
- Engage someone to assist you.
