deleted items are not going to recycle bin

      10th Jul 2006
no matter what i delete, pictures, documents, whatever, i dont geta message
asking if i'm sure i want to delete, and absolutely NOTHING goes to the
Recycle Bin.....it simply deletes. Can someone tell me why and how I can fix
the problem?

Give this a try. On your desktop, do a Right-Click on the Recycle Bin icon, select Properties. On the Global Tab, be sure to select "Display delete confirmation dialog".
Press Apply and OK.

There is also an option to 'not move items to the recycle bin, but delete
them immediately..you may have that selected.

Also, often, if you are deleting very large files or deleting them from
temporary or removable storage, there may not be an option of using the
recycle bin.
