Deleted Items Folder Super Slow to Empty

Recently, after installing OneCare Live and allowing a couple of Office
Updates (2007), my (Outlook) deleted items folder is really, really slow to
empty. Just to delete say 100 items it could take 3-4 minutes. I noticed
that the animation of the paper from the folder to the trash is very choppy
and slow too. Everything else seems to work OK. Ther is no doubt it is all
a little slower after the updates, but not terrible. Just the deleted items
folder. Just to empty 20 items can take 1 minute. Any ideas?
