When I permanently delete an item out of my deleted file. They keep coming
back!!! Any ideas as to why someting would not delete correctly?

Could be that you are connected to an Exchange or IMAP acct. If so, you need
to use the Edit menu and select Purge Deleted Items.

I do not see a purge option- I have Outlook 2007 with a POP account if that
helps.

There's no way with a POP account that messages permanently deleted will
return. It is possible, however, that if they're still in your mailbox on
the POP server that they might get downloaded again. Be more precise in
describing what "coming back" means. Where do they reappear? Are they bold
when they do?
