When I delete items from my Inbox, they just disappear. They used to get
moved to my Deleted Items folder, but lately they do not. Could this be due
to some change that I have made? I have two email accounts: one is IMAP and
one is POP. I recently set up the IMAP account to forward messages to the pop
account, so I only have to look at one inbox. Maybe it was at around this
time that the application stopped moving deleted messages to the Deleted
Items folder. A few minutes ago, I noticed that the counter that appears next
to the folder in the Folders View window [ Deleted Items (x) ) would
momentarily appear with a "(1)" when I deleted something, then the (1) would
instantly disappear, and the deleted message would not appear in the Deleted
Items list. But now, even this does not happen when I deleted a message from
my Inbox. It seems to just disappear instantly.

Check the view so goto deleted items now click->view->arrange by->current
view->messages
