I accidently deleted my index.htm page and now I can't get it to post back onto my site. I have the file sitting there, but it won't go. My site no longer works because it does not have this file. How do I get it on there? Lora

You have it sitting where? On your local machine, or on your host server?
Where did you delete it from?

HI! always note that if you delete a file on your website you could always
check your internet cash to see if its still there.

But like the other reply ask you which one did you delete? your local or
your remote?
the answer may by a lot simpler. always try to specify if possible.

internet cash - not!

you mean cache not doubt - and I thought that was pronounced "Caysh" or "Cash-ay"
as in attache ("att-ash-ay") case.

Where did you delete it from - the local machine - your PC - or from the server??
(i.e. editing the site live)

Are you working on a live site with no local backgup (bad idea!! for the exact
reason you've written about).

Can't you just do another page named index.htm? Was there anything special on it
that can't be easily redone? i.e scripts or whatever.....

If the file is "sitting there" (sitting where?) how can it be deleted?.....and
won't go where?

Depending on which version of "index.htm" you deleted, just republish it again if
you deleted the remote version, or download (publish-back) to the local machine
from the server.
