How do I restore a deleted guest account?
If I try to create one, it tells me it already exists, but I can't get at it
on the account admin?

Hi

Try a System Restore back to a point before you 'deleted' the Account.

Can't do that, done a lot of stuff since last restore; Have solved original
problem now, found another thread about enabling net users and resetting
passwords from command prompt.

Thanks anyway...

Unless you are running Home Edition and need the guest account for network
purposes - disable it! The MS Security adviser warns of it as a security
risk....

Hi

If you don't try a System Restore you may end up having to perform a
'Repair' install of XP.
