You can use a few programs to recover your deleted files.
Above is one very good one.

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.HTML
Restoration is another good one.

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/undeleteplus.html
And this is good too.

First, do not use your computer, as you will overwrite the lost files.
The best way is to slave your Hard Drive in another computer, or external
caddy attached to it, install above program on the other computer's hard
drive, and get it to recover files from your drive there.

If you install it on your computer, you run the risk of overwriting your
lost files with the recovery program files

Windows might have put temporary copies in the below folder, look in Windows
Explorer to see if they're there:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\CD Burning

where <username> is the logon name you're currently using. Or rather, to be
precise, the logon you were using when trying to copy the files.

If you can't see that directory, in Windows Explorer go to Tools > Folder
Options > "View" tab > under "Hidden files and folders", make sure there's a
dot in "Show hidden files and folders", click "Apply", click "Apply to All
Folders", say Yes to the prompt, click on OK, press F5 in Windows Explorer
to refresh the view.

If they are in the folder, copy them out to another location on your
computer before you do anything else, as it sounds like these are the only
copies you've got. Then investigate the matter of how important it is to you
to take regular backups of important data going forward!

Worthwhile trying that.
But normally, if niminated files are not burnt to dusk, next time you start
windows, you get a pop up telling you that "Files are waiting to be burnt to
CD"

I have reported you to Microsoft. I am sick of you interfering with my
postings here.
You are a RAVING NUT.

I intend to have you barred from these Newsgroups, for your filthy
accusations against me.
You should be locked up in a Nut House.
