I just switched from Shaw to Telus (service providers) and now when I delete
emails in my Inbox, they stay there and are now showing with strikethrough.
I want all my deleted emails to leave my Inbox and go to the deleted items
folder (and then I can remove them from there). Is there a setting I am
missing, I have looked everywhere and this worked when I was on Shaw!

You must have switched to a IMAP acct. To delete you need to select Purge
Deleted items on the menu.

I saw the "purge" option, however when I use that, does it permanently delete
my Emails or do they move to the Deleted Items folder? I want to keep my
deleted emails for a short period of time "just in case"...I have found in
the past that I have had to look to them for info. Thanks.
