I accidentally deleted a word doc. I recovered it from my hard drive with a
recovery program. It is now $c2.doc.
It opens as a word doc but is in machine language as listed below but still
is a word doc.. Is
there a way to get this
back to readable english???????
Thanks

Based on my experience once a file gets to this point there really is
no recovery - regardless of what we may see on television shows. ;-)

Several months ago I encountered a situation in which 100s of my
documents were deleted and after recovering them some were in the same
state. I tried various things and utilities but so far many important
files remain lost. :-(
