Hi
I somehow managed to delete all my contacts & all of my emails. I have
restored the file from my recycle bin but am unable to open it. File comes up
as "outlook.pst" (office data file) & when i try to open it, it is unable to
find the right programme to open the file. Any help would be gratefuly
received, but please remember I am a technothick, so plain english please.
Many thanks in advance

You can't open a PST file by double clicking it. Can you just put it back in
the directory it was originally in? What version of Outlook are you using?
