hi everyone,
I am using a PC running XP Pro and Outlook 2003 SP1. The machine has been
used in an office until 2 years ago, so it still has the Outlook with
Exchange at the time included in a Msft Small Business Server 2003 (?)
package.
I am using this computer stand alone, and have been adding new e-mail
accounts from several different ISP´s whose messages (In and Out) were all
visible in the same Exchange main mail folder in Outlook.
A few days ago, someone deleted the Exchange account, saying it wouldn´t be
necessary anymore since all messages were getting in through other e-mail
accounts. Doing so, all messages were gone as well as Contacts and Calendar.
Now I can only see old messages archive folders (*.pst).
I would like to go back to the old config or at least to be able to get the
information lost messages. Would it be possible? Thank you.

Apparently you were referencing the offline folders Outlook creates when
using an Exchange account. By deleting the Exchange account, you have
permanently disconnected those folders from Outlook and they cannot be
reconnected. You will need to acquire an OST to PST converter if you need
the data back. Use Google to look for "convert ost to pst".
