My PC is infected by several DIaler Viruses ( Heysan and
Telebizz) Updated Norton Antivirus cannot delete these
files. I turned system restore off. I still cannot delete
these files manually or with the Norton Antivirus. Any
help is appreciated.

Try downloading another virus scanner and installing and running it in
Safe Mode.

To remove dialers try SpyBot Search and Destroy from
www.security.kolla.de
and AdAware from www.lavasoftusa.com

Try running Norton AV in your computers "Safe Mode". To
do this click on your "Start" button, select the "Run"
option, "Type in MSCONFIG" then select OK. On the box
which appears select "Boot.ini" and then "Safe Mode" in
the box on the left hand side, click OK and you're PC
will re-boot into "Safe Mode". It can take a minute to do
this. Now run Norton AV and do a full scan. If Norton
finds your infections you should be able to delete them.
Close Norton AV and then go to your "Start" button,
select the "Run" option again, "Type in MSCONFIG" then
select OK again. You should see an option "Normal Start
up" on the "General" header, select this and your PC will
reboot as normal. Do a full scan again to make sure
the "bugs" have gone.

Hope this helps,

John in the UK

PS. Make sure your Norton AV virus list is up to date
first.
