We just got some XP Pro machines form dell and the above mentioned
explorer actions are intolerably slow. I am guessing that this relates
to some shell extensions that take too long - is there any way to find
out which or another way to solve this problem?
thanks,
max

Let me be the first one to ask you how much RAM you have. I posted a
similar message about the slowness of my new Dell (128MB RAM) and I do
know that RAM is important to performance, which is why I ordered a
512MB strip yesterday.
