Hi,

I am trying to have a file automatically deleted when the user logs off and
I am having trouble finding out how to do it.

The file is "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Wallpaper
Master\wallImage.bmp"

We use roaming profiles and copying this file to the server uses a lot of
space so I want to delete it when a user logs off (and preferably before the
profile is copied to the server).

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Maybe OT, but why not exclude that folder from roaming? Or disable wallpaper
outright, if you don't want people using it?

There's a policy for this:
"Exclude directories in roaming profiles" in "User
Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\User Profiles"

cheers,

Florian
