Deleting content in Word 2007 is no different than in any other version, and
how the text is formatted makes no difference - Select the text & press
Delete. That, however, is so fundamentally obvious that there *must* be more
to your question

Unfortunately nobody here - with a few exceptions -
happens to be psychic or omniscient
If you provide more detail about what is preventing you from performing a
very basic task & what is happening when you try I'm certain someone will be
able to help. In the meantime the only guess I can make is that you are
dealing with a protected document. If so, Protection needs to be turned off
before you can edit the document, and you may need a password to do so.
