Delete PST file in Oulook 2007

I moved my Outlook 2007 pst file from an XP computer to a new vista computer.
I have two Personal Folders (the original pst folder) and the one that I
brought over. How do I delete the original folder? Also, when I put a
folder from the new pst, say Inbox into the favorites it says 'Inbox from
Personal Folder'. How can I have it just say Inbox. Thanks..

Thanks... but how do I 'disconnect' the original Vista Outlook file? I don't
see any delete or disconnect anywhere when I click on the original folder in
the Navigation Bar. I changed the name to Old Personal Files, but that
doesn't help.

I'm all set... thank you for your prompt response.
One thing... I had set up my original question to send me an Email when
someone responds. It did just that, but when I clicked on the link to the
message the URL went to the sited... the page said Done, but it was blank.

You're welcome! :-)

I don't know about that webpage. I don't use a web interface or notification
emails to read the newsgroups. I use Windows Live Mail's NNTP feature to
directly connect to the newsgroup server of Microsoft. You can contact the
web site owner hosting the newsgroups and inform them about the email
notification being broken.

I suspect that the server didn't post your two replies (they certainly don't
show up for me and I'm using Microsoft's server) but before losing the
messages, it sent the notification mail. That's why the OP received empty
notices. Your messages hadn't been saved.

Well they do show up in the reply of the OP and he responded to it so they
were saved ;-)
Some forums send out broken HTML notifications and others get broken by the
OP using AVG.

Messages not showing up only happens sometimes when accessing the newsgroups
with NNTP not on the web forums. Usually this only happens every now and
then but the issue maintains for quite some time now. I hope they fix it
soon as it is really a waste of time.
