I want to delete a program/application that I installed yesterday 7/4/2006.
Where can I find a list of programs by date installed? [I have Windows XP
Pro w/ SP2.]

Thank you,

Barry Karas

PS Delete a program/application. I do not need now to delete a file.

Click Start, select Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs.
Look for the Program you installed or select date last used.

A problem: the date last used is in all cases from two months to two years
behind times.

Don't you remember the name of the program you installed?

In many cases I remember the name, but how do I actually delete it, not just
end the process, but delete the program?

Thank you.

Through Add/Remove Programs <grin>

If the uninstaller doesn't remove folders and shortcuts, you will have to
do that manually. That shouldn't take too long.

Then you could have a look at Total Uninstall, which can take snapshots of
all changes made to your system since its initial installation.
